pjur at the Cologne AidsGala

Wasserbillig/Luxembourg, JULY 2015. On Friday, the pjur group presented the distinguished guests at the Cologne AidsGala with product samples. Right on the red carpet, personal lubricants and chocolates – packaged in little yellow bags – were presented to Ralph Morgenstern, Tim Fischer, German Supertalent winner Marcella Rockefeller, and many other VIPs. “Unbelievable, thank you very much! You can never have enough pjur personal lubricants”, said Tatjana Taft, well-known drag queen on the scene. Elisabeth Dahmen, PR Manager at pjur, was also very happy: “The atmosphere was fantastic and people were literally grabbing the little bags out of our hands.” A flurry of camera flashes accompanied the appearance of ‘Conchita 4711’, the Cologne-based Con-chita Wurst double, on the red carpet. The real ESC winner appeared at the Gala later, and performed two songs, including ‘Rise Like a Phoenix’. The Cologne Aidshilfe organization also presented Conchita Wurst with the Jean-Claude Letist Prize for her extraordinary life journey and her contribution as a role model for many.pjur also distributed product samples on the AidsGala red carpet last year, the only company to do so. Because of last year’s resounding response, the company decided to do the same again in 2015. “We’re very happy to continue raising awareness of AIDS with pjur. Although there have been great advances in this field, AIDS is still very much a current problem, and we wish to continue the fight to-gether with others”, said Elisabeth Dahmen.
